Internally restricted job. To apply for this job you must be an employee of the Council for the duration of the recruitment process – up to and including the start date. You must also be a substantive employee (or an employee with 12 months continuous service or more) of the Council or an Apprentice. If you have experience undertaking Streetscene activity and can demonstrate an understanding in the services involved in maintaining environments and addressing environmental anti-social behaviour, then Greenspace Team Supervisor may be the job for you.

As Greenspace Action Supervisor you will plan work schedules for team members and make decisions using your best judgment about which tasks should be done and when. You will work with external partners, including other Council services, the Police, business and communities to share intelligence and support activities.

To be considered for this job you must:

  • Understand current legislation relevant to environmental enforcement
  • Be experienced in undertaking environmental activities including operational maintenance practices, equipment and machinery.
  • Understand issues affecting streets and neighbourhoods including agendas which can reduce anti-social behaviour.
