Due to retirement of our longstanding post holder, we have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, committed and self-motivated colleague to join our Educational Psychology and Early Years SEND team to support us with our focus on making a difference to children in Kirklees.

This key role involves providing leadership and management to a team of business support officers ensuring the smooth running of the service and providing support to a wide range of professional colleagues who support children, families and education settings. This role includes responsibility for day-to-day operations and the efficient delivery of administrative and operational systems, procedures and policies.

You will need to be a team player who is able to multi-task effectively, motivate others and demonstrate a commitment to achieving high standards as well as flexibility and adaptability within a busy working environment, using your initiative as required.

You will need:

  • Experience of managing a Business Support team or have transferable skills which support with effective team management
  • Experience of shaping and developing efficient systems and processes
  • Experience of using a wide range of office software and databases
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • Experience of office work in the last 3 years
  • An ability to learn quickly
  • A passion for working as part of a team
