Hartshead Junior and Infant are looking for adaptable, motivated and enthusiastic Educational Support Assistants to join our team.

The roles will be, predominantly, to support pupils with an Education, Health and Care Plan.

These posts are to commence as soon as possible, for as long as the pupils remain at school.

Hartshead is a small, community school in a beautiful semi-rural village. In our inclusive school, every member of staff - from Headteacher to Cook - knows every pupil, takes the very best care of them and contributes to their achievements.

Our pupils enjoy an engaging and creative curriculum, which fosters a love of learning and develops successful young people; children equipped for the challenges and opportunities ahead.

Our school moto: smile together, grow together, discover together and achieve together is at the centre of all we do.

The successful candidates will be flexible in their approach and team players.

In return, we will offer you an experienced and supportive team of staff and governors as well as enthusiastic and happy children.

You are warmly encouraged to contact the Headteacher, Sarah Shaw, to find out more about the post and arrange a visit to the school.  Phone 01274 879700

Please visit the website at www.hartsheadschool.co.uk. for more information about the school.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff are subject to an enhanced DBS check. A conviction may not exclude candidates from appointment - but will be considered as part of the recruitment process.

Application forms should be returned to the Headteacher at the school on office.hartshead@kirkleeseducation.uk by 12 noon on Wednesday 31st May 2023.

Interviews will take place on Thursday 8th June.
