Are you a qualified accountant/have a degree in Business Management with financial and premises management experience looking for a challenging new role?

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional, highly organised and customer-focused manager to provide financial management and premises management at Colne Valley High School (CVHS), Huddersfield, a large secondary school of 1,350 students.  You will also be responsible for the financial management of Marsden Junior School with 210 pupils located 4 miles away from CVHS.

You will deliver effective financial operations, including all areas of income and expenditure, support Senior Leaders with appropriate reports and ensure timely reporting to the Trust Finance Team.  CVHS is in a Public Private Partnership (PPP) for management of its land and buildings so a substantial part of your role will be liaising with the on-site Facilities Company Manager.  You will also be responsible for maintaining areas that are not part of the PPP e.g. Sports Centre, Artificial Turf Pitch, Well-being Centre.

You must be an experienced business manager with strong financial and operational management expertise. You will be a forward thinking and personable leader, offering a strong track record of successful operational leadership as well as excellent communication skills. A genuine willingness to embrace our School vision and values and to be fully involved in school life is essential.

You will have a passion for finance, organisation and management and a ‘can-do’ attitude in order to make a difference.
