This job is internally restricted. To apply for this job you must be an employee of the Council for the duration of the recruitment process – up to and including the start date. You must also be a substantive employee (or an employee with 12 months continuous service or more) of the Council or an Apprentice. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Business Support Manager to lead a small team, alongside supporting and further developing Kirklees Supply Service which is a traded service.

This will require a dynamic and pro-active individual, to develop efficient and effective processes and systems across the service.

Kirklees Supply Service manages the process of placing supply teachers, teaching assistants, nursery assistants and Business Support staff in schools to cover absences ensuring continuity of education to pupils.

Commercial awareness, along with the ability to transform, grow and strengthen the position of the service in a highly competitive market.

You will be expected to exercise a significant degree of self-motivation and be creative and solution focused. A good understanding analysing management information, income generation/full cost recovery and financial monitoring is a requirement of the role.
