Class Teacher - Windmill Primary Church of England Primary School

Our successful Church of England School is looking for two passionate, reflective teachers to join our team. Given the strength and experience of our teaching team we welcome applicants wishing to teach in any primary phase: EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
You will be ambitious for our children and know that teaching is all about encouraging a genuine love of learning and creating a stimulating, nurturing environment in which every pupil can develop both academically and socially. We require two a teacher who can listen, question, be responsive and remember that every pupil and class is different.
Our teachers benefit from tailored support, targeted professional development opportunities and the chance to work in a friendly and collaborative learning community. Leaders in school take a ‘common sense’ approach to workload and work alongside staff to ensure that everything we do has in impact on pupils’ progress. We encourage staff to be reflective, risk-taking and be at the leading edge of research and innovation in order to secure best outcomes for children.

Hold Qualified Teacher Status and experience teaching in primary schools.
Have excellent curriculum knowledge
Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Are versatile and able to meet each pupil's specific need
Our school is well placed for applicants from across West Yorkshire, we are situated very close to Junction 27 of the M62, close to Birstall retail park.
