We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate Front of House Assistants to join our Town Halls Team.

You will have a passion for working with people and improving customers journeys.

It is a very exciting time for the venues services with plans to expand our offering across all of our Town Halls to continue to grow the business to support in delivering the councils outcomes.

Our team works across four high profile Town Halls and several community centres across north and south Kirklees.

As the public face of the Town Halls our Front of House Assistants provide excellent customer care and experiences over a broad range of events, life celebrations, shows and conferences and ensure a welcoming, professional, and accessible service to all our visitors.

As well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a can-do attitude and the ability to think on their feet the key areas of responsibility for this role are:

  • Proactive engagement with customers.
  • Stewarding customers to seating
  • Assisting in emergency situations and working as part of team to ensure the safety of customers.
  • Selling of refreshments and merchandise.
  • Cash handling
  • Fielding customer queries
  • The opportunity to train on the box office to learn ticketing sales.
  • The opportunity to train on reception.
