Kirklees council has a strong commitment to continuing to provide excellent services to support its diverse community and places high value on the educational psychology team’s involvement in this. Our EPS has a free core offer for all schools as well as providing some support to schools as part of a traded offer. - Developing and embedding Emotion Coaching practice across schools
- Building on the work undertaken with schools as part of the Alex Timpson Attachment Aware, Trauma-Informed and Resilience-Led research programme
- Leading on training to education settings for children in care and working closely with our specialist teachers and inclusion workers
Our remit within these initiatives focuses on whole school development work which aims to build long term capacity within our schools through a range of training, interventions and staff supervision. This work has gained local and national recognition. Follow the links at the end of the document to find out more.
