We are looking to recruit a temporary Driver Training Officer; the post is initially for 5 months.

You will work in the training team that supports employees in the Operational Services of the Council. We provide driver assessments for drivers of the Council’s fleet vehicles as well as taxi testing for drivers as part of their licence application.

Your main role will be to design and potentially deliver a Driver CPC module for the Council’s fleet drivers. The training will need to cover for roles carried out by Cleansing, Highways and Greenspace Services.

You will be a qualified Approved Driving Instructor with a current Fleet Badge you will bring expertise and knowledge of fleet driving to the Council.
