Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of WomenCentre.

As a new consortium, Staying Put, DVS, WomenCentre & Family Action are delivering a One Front Door model, ensuring families who have experienced domestic abuse & sexual violence receive the right support at the right time, to make them safe, sooner, and help promote recovery and healing.

We are looking to recruit experienced counsellors to join our team. To apply you will need to have:

  • A minimum of two years post qualification experience of offering individual counselling to people who have been exposed to domestic abuse and or sexual violence.
  • A sound knowledge of relevant support services.

Post holders will be based in the Bradford District as part of the Survive and Thrive Service but will be employed by WomenCentre Ltd. and will work in a range of outreach venues across Bradford.

(Post holders will be home based whilst current Covid restrictions are in place).
