Jobs 1 and 2: 37 hours (there is also the possibility of a temporary post)

You will work as part of the Early Support management team in developing the “whole family” working approach as defined by the Kirklees Stronger Families. This approach means helping parents/families secure better outcomes for their children through more effective and better co-ordinated interventions from a wide range of services. 

You will work consistently and assertively using a restorative, partnership focused approach, developing effective working relationships to deliver co-ordinated support to Children, Young people and their families ensuring the Child’s voice is paramount. 

Reporting to the Early Support Team Manager you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Early Support Consultants and Family Support Workers to deliver targeted Early Support to children, young people, and families within a specific geographical area. 

You will provide casework supervision and management oversight for your team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. You will ensure that safeguarding risk is managed proportionately, and local and national safeguarding procedures are adhered to. 

Ensuring practice is of high quality, you will play a key role in supporting service developments and change to improve outcomes for children, young people and families.
