Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of Kirklees Care Association.

Kirklees Care Association (KirCA) is a not-for-profit organisation representing and supporting independent social care providers across Kirklees. KirCA is sector led and is involved in a range of different projects within the social care sector. This is a great opportunity to build your skills and knowledge and join our multi-disciplinary team.

We are just about to start an exciting project to support care providers to adopt digital care systems and wider technology that helps prevent falls in people who are at high risk. This is a short term project, but it may be extended if we are able to deliver the first phase of the work – that is where you come in!

We are looking for people who can support care providers in exploring the best approaches to using technology as part of delivering care. You might already work in the care or digital sector and be looking for a new full time challenge, or you may be able to help us alongside an existing part-time role.

If you are good at talking to people and developing innovative solutions with them, we would love to hear from you. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong interpersonal, organisational and negotiation skills.

You will be working to support care providers involved in the project. You will support them in applications for funding. You will also support them when they are thinking about and designing what they want from digital solutions.

There will be some project management work to make sure we monitor our delivery of the project, and you will have to provide updates on progress at regular meetings.

Our ideal applicant will be highly motivated, be prepared to work flexibly, in a high profile and demanding environment, working to tight deadlines to achieve success for our project.

We can offer you:

  • A competitive salary
  • Excellent annual leave entitlement
  • Mobile and agile working – you might be based at home or in one of our provider settings
  • A supportive team environment
