Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of Touchstone.

The Well-bean Cafe is open 7 evenings a week: 6pm – 12am.  The cafe provides a non-clinical setting to support 12 individuals at a time, to access support in a crisis as an alternative to A&E. The post holder will support people in acute distress, including 1-2-1 support, support planning and liaising with local services.

We wish to recruit someone with personal experience of mental distress, and substantial experience of supporting people in crisis, including working with people at risk of suicide and self-harm, and supporting people from BME and LGBT communities.
