Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of Cottingley Primary Academy.

We are now in a fortunate position to grow our staffing body and provide further, more tailored support to our children within the school. We are excited to welcome new, like-minded people to our team, who will embrace our positive and creative approach in order to really make a difference.

The role:

We are seeking an experienced HTLA (SEND) to join our team. As a HTLA you will support the children in teacher lead classroom settings and also directly plan and deliver 1:1 and small group sessions which focus on SEND delivery and other specialist sessions.

Skills and experience we would like to see:

  • HTLA status (or willing to work towards this)
  • GCSE C or above (or equivalent grade 4 / L2 Maths and English)
  • Understanding of Primary curriculum
  • Planning and delivery of 1:1 and small group sessions
  • SEND experience and specialist interventions awareness
  • Experience within a Primary School setting
