IT Network Manager 

 

Are you a technically highly skilled, customer-focused, motivated and experienced IT professional?

 

We are seeking to recruit an experienced, customer focused IT Network Manager to lead, manage and develop our network infrastructure and IT team to provide an outstanding IT service to our College.

 

In this role you will take overall responsibility for the management and development of the IT network infrastructure ensuring the safe reliable running of all IT systems. You will ensure delivery of high quality, solution focused and customer-oriented IT service within the College. 

 

The successful applicant will be innovative and pragmatic in developing the IT function to progress the College’s objectives and support teaching and learning in the most effective way. You will be at the forefront of decisions regarding the network infrastructure and IT developments in liaison with the Leadership Team.

 

In conjunction with the Business Manager, you will plan the IT budget to ensure most effective and efficient use of available funds, and also work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the College. 

 

You will bring a full complement of IT knowledge and be able to demonstrate experience in the successful delivery of an IT network, and it is, therefore, essential that you are fully conversant with a hyper converged infrastructure.

 

You will also support and implement IT policies, procedures and best practices.

 

You will be educated to college level in relevant Microsoft technologies. Having recognised professional IT qualifications, ideally to degree level or equivalent, are advantageous.

 

Some flexibility will be required on occasions, to suit the operational needs of the School

 

All Saints is an 11-16 school, situated near the northern boundary of Kirklees.  We are a Catholic school with students attending from diverse cultural backgrounds, which contribute to the distinctive ethos.  In July 2017, Ofsted judged All Saints “Good” in every category and “Outstanding” in terms of our recent S48 inspection by the Diocese of Leeds in June 2018.
