About Northorpe Hall Child & Family Trust

We are a charity based in Kirklees, West Yorkshire with a commitment to working with and supporting children and young people under the age of 25 who are facing disadvantage in their lives.

A large part of our work involves supporting the mental and emotional health of children and young people including supporting families where this will positively impact on young people’s mental health and well-being.

We deliver support, services, activities and events from our beautiful buildings and grounds in Mirfield. The site provides safe and therapeutic spaces which promote wellbeing as well as hosting weddings and events in the Northorpe Barn.

We are a dynamic and friendly organisation dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people and looking for people who share our passion for improving young lives.

The role

We are looking for a part time administrator, to provide a broad range of administrative and operational support. Administrators fulfil a key role in our organisation, including answering calls from parents, young people, professionals and customers. Some calls, particularly with parents or young people, may be emotionally challenging.

This role is suited to someone with previous administration experience with a positive, helpful approach. This is a diverse administrative role where tasks are varied and the role can be demanding.

In this role, you will be a key part of the team helping us to make sure all children, young people, families and visitors to our site get the best welcome, service and experience.

Operational hours within which this role will be expected to work will be anytime between 9.00am to 7.00pm weekdays and 9.00am to 2.00pm on Saturdays as required. You will work to a rota which may include days starting at 9am and late finishing at 7pm.

Weekend working on a rotational basis may be required as part of your working hours.

Closing date is 28th April 2024.

Interviews will be held from midday on 2nd May and will include a site tour as well as formal interview process.
