Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of Honley High School.

Honley High School has an exciting opportunity for a driven and motivated person to join its Inclusion team.  As a Behaviour Support Officer you will have a key role in assisting students with their personal development, behaviour and welfare. 

The successful candidate will work in a responsive roll, whereby the will:

  • Support academic and pastoral colleagues in providing an effective response to instances of challenging and disruptive behaviour
  • Provide support for vulnerable and/or disengaged learners, including working with internal and external partners where necessary
  • Communicate effectively with parents, students and colleagues to effectively promote and support the wellbeing and safeguarding of all
