Finance Manager - South Pennine Academies

About the role

We are looking for an individual to work as part of our Central Finance Team. You will report to the Finance Director and work closely with the Assistant Finance Director and Academy Principals in providing a financial service to the Academies. You will also be supported by a Finance Officer and Admin Support in your role.

The role will be based at our new head office in Elland. You will be the Finance Manager across up to four of our Primary Academies and travel may be required to Oldham and / or Huddersfield for meetings as required to fulfil the role.

If you are the person we seek, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and abilities:

• Advise Trust Principals on their financial position
• Work with the Finance Director to enable the financial position to be monitored with support from a Finance Officer and Admin Support in Schools
• To adhere to the Trust and Academies Financial Handbooks
• Produce accurate information and reports
• To work with accuracy and attention to detail.
• To prioritise and plan to ensure completion of tasks across all 4 Academies.
• Self-motivated and hard working.
• Ability to work in a team.
