Apprenticeship will commence in November 2020 and is fixed Term between 18-24 months.  

You will be appointed at £19,554 per annum.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within Early Support whose services are made up of Family Support, Family Mental Health, Family Group Conferencing, Parenting Team, Community Hubs (schools), Youth services.

An apprenticeship with Kirklees Council will help you grow your career alongside working towards a qualification.

You will combine learning with Leeds Trinity University with on the job training as a Family Support Worker based within a locality team where you will gain knowledge, skills and experience.

During the Apprenticeship you will learn all aspects of the Family Support role, develop a wide knowledge of services, receive support and guidance from a supervisor/mentor. You will be expected to collect a portfolio of evidence.

Successful candidates will need to meet the Apprenticeship eligibility Funding criteria and if you are successfully shortlisted your application will be shared with Leeds Trinity University to check your eligibility to attend the course.
