This job is internally restricted. To apply for this job you must be an employee of the Council for the duration of the recruitment process – up to and including the start date. We are looking for an experienced HR professional to join our People Services leadership team and lead the service delivery function of our HR Service which provides HR support to the council and schools. You will lead our work to embed and develop the business partner model and delivery of a customer and solutions focused HR function which supports the council to deliver it’s ambitions and priorities.

An experienced HR leader with strength in developing practice and services, you will be CIPD qualified with practical and strategic HR experience across relevant HR specialisms and across a breadth of services to bring a business focus. You will embrace change and seek opportunities to develop as both a professional expert and leader. Looking beyond organisational boundaries for opportunities to develop networks and practice comes naturally. Resilient and determined, you strive for excellence and will expect the same of your team; it goes without saying that your communication and people skills will be second to none.
