We have a number of exciting opportunities to join the Communications and Marketing team at Kirklees Council.

This is an exciting time to be part of the team as we continue to adapt to the impact of Covid-19 while still pushing forward with our ambitious development plans.

We are looking for two new members of our team:

Senior Communications Officer (Waste and Recycling Project)

This role is focused on major changes to waste and recycling in Kirklees that will affect every home, resident and business in our area.

You will need significant large scale, multi-channel marketing campaign experience as well as experience of targeted behavioural change campaigns.

Senior Communications Officer (Business Solutions)

This role is focused on working with the Schools Trading Team and the Business Solutions digital platform. You will need to promote council traded services to schools, to support council services to optimise their profile on the platform and to drive other campaign activity which encourages schools to purchase services from council suppliers.

You will need commercial marketing experience as well as copywriting and editorial skills along with mixed channel campaign experience.
