This role is working within Kirklees Councils In house Occupational Health Unit based at our bespoke Occupational Health unit in Huddersfield.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to develop their skills in the health and wellbeing field. The post holder will be given the opportunity to support the in house Occupational Health team to deliver specific occupational health and wellbeing programmes. This role will be working with our team to support better health and wellbeing and attendance at work.

Ideally the post holder will be someone who has knowledge or some experience of health and wellbeing or the care sector. What’s most important to us is that we appoint someone who is passionate about health and wellbeing and willing to train in the role.

The main aspects of the role will be:

-Supporting the wellbeing leads to deliver innovative projects such as the wellbeing charter and peer to peer support programmes.

- Supporting the organisation with mental health training and general wellbeing courses /topics in schools and other partner organisations.

-Delivery of generic health screening (audiometry, spirometry etc.) as per the generic job specification. Training will be provided.

-Travelling to customer locations, undertaking Wellbeing Events, Health Screening and assessments on site with a range of health based outcomes.

-Completing all administration tasks relevant to the position

-Management reporting (internally and externally) to all clients within timelines

-This role will suit an enthusiastic, self-starter who is passionate about providing health support to clients.
