This job is internally restricted. To apply for this job you must be an employee of the Council for the duration of the recruitment process – up to and including the start date. Children’s Services are entering an exciting new phase on our journey to deliver outstanding services to the children and young people of Kirklees.  We are looking for a dynamic and experienced project manager to join our project team. You will be comfortable with working at pace and be able to evidence successfully managing projects which contribute to our Corporate Priorities of Best Start and Aspire and Achieve. Knowledge and understanding of our services, where we’ve come from and where we intend to be is essential.   

As an advocate of Restorative Practice, you will use your skills to provide high support and high challenge appropriately. 

Stepping outside of the traditional project manager role, you will flexibly blend approaches, confidently using innovation and IT to lead and facilitate improvement work which historically has been delivered face to face. You will  be experienced in applying improvement disciplines such as Systems Thinking, Agile or Lean alongside your technical Project Management skills, deploying as appropriate in order to achieve the best outcomes possible.
