Educational Teaching Assistant (with Lunchtime Supervision) – Marsden Infant and Nursery School

Marsden Infant and Nursery School are seeking to appoint a fixed term, part time Education Teaching Assistant with previous experience of working with children with Special Education Needs.

This job is to support a Year 1 child and other SEND groups under the supervision of the class teacher and SENDCo.

The role will also require the successful candidate to assist in the supervision of a 45 minute lunchtime each day (included in the working hours above) which will be paid at Grade 3 (Lunchtime Supervisor rate). 

Marsden Infant and Nursery School is set in the rural village of Marsden, and we are a friendly, welcoming school, where every child is valued.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly self-motivated person with a commitment to helping children reach their potential.

The successful candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

It is important that they have the ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with the children, staff and parents. 

Salary: £13,428 - £14,439 at 26.25 hours for Grade 6 (ESA hours) AND £1,748 (plus market rate supplement) at 3.75 hours for Grade 3 (Lunchtime Supervisor hours)
