An exciting opportunity exists to join one of the leading independent schools in West Yorkshire from January 2021.

Huddersfield Grammar School seeks an energetic, enthusiastic and suitably qualified Nursery Nurse/EYFS Teaching Assistant, qualified to Level 3 or above, to join our Early Years department.

Huddersfield Grammar School is thriving and has enjoyed significant growth in recent years, now comprising of over 540 students, from the Early Years to Year 11. Despite this, class sizes remain limited to a maximum of 20 pupils per class.

Candidates for the Nursery Nurse/EYFS Teaching Assistant post should illustrate a capacity to assist our Early Years team in all aspects of day-to-day care, through social, emotional, educational and practical interaction, nurturing and guidance.

The appointed person will be responsible for a key group of children, helping them to learn and develop socially, physically and emotionally, through familiar routines, stimulating educational play and other child-based activities.

In seeking to work for a well-regarded independent school, applicants should also demonstrate a willingness to contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school.
