The Council and its partners are undertaking a significant portfolio of transformational change activities that impact across the whole of the council and Kirklees. Delivering complex whole system-wide changes focused on improving outcomes, requires us to be whole system leaders and consider new ways of working to meet the needs of citizens.

Your specific role will focus on the replacement of the current adult social care system including leading on and developing training to users across the service. Additionally, you will have line management responsibility for team members including qualified Social Workers and you will provide support to the Team Manager to ensure the smooth running and effective management of the team, including being responsible for the team in the Team Manager’s absence. You don’t need to have direct experience of working transformation projects, but we are looking for people that are good at making links, spotting opportunities and developing innovative solutions.

You must hold a SWE recognised Social Work Qualification and be registered with the SWE.
