At Kirklees we work in an innovative and creative way to deliver our services to our communities. We are always looking for better and smarter ways to work and the right people to help us to do that.

This job is part of the Business Support job family, which is a key role in supporting our teams to deliver high quality services. You will contribute to the effective running of the Council with your first class and efficient administrative support skills

We are looking for two motivated, proactive and organised individuals to join our busy Business Support Team within the Communities Service working across all the service areas

Within the Communities service we work with partners and local people to enable communities to be resilient places, where people don’t just get along with one another but where they feel safe, can flourish and be proud of where they live.

We work with communities supporting them to develop communities that are strong and integrated whereby people recognise and can feel part of the community life, a place where extremists struggle to get a foothold because the individuals are resilient and have someone to turn to, where community organisations are generating social capital to strengthen local areas.

Our service areas are Cohesion & Integration, Safer Kirklees, Migration & Resettlement, Prevent , Domestic Abuse & Safeguarding Partnerships.
