Do you enjoy working with different types of data? Would you like to help us to use data and intelligence more effectively to understand and reduce inequalities in Kirklees? Then we want to hear from you!

We have two new exciting roles in the Intelligence & Performance Service in Kirklees Council. You will be responsible for supporting a new Commission focusing on tackling inequalities in Kirklees and providing them with evidence, intelligence and insights to aid their understanding and decision making. You will be handling and interrogating large and diverse datasets and applying your data analysis and interpretation skills to improve knowledge and awareness of inequalities, particularly regarding protected characteristics and vulnerable groups. Working closely with members of the Commission, other services and external partners you will transform data into intelligence and insights to help solve problems, identify needs and opportunities and assess impacts and outcomes.

You will have access to modern intelligence and analytical tools such as Tableau and have the opportunity to work closely with great people in our existing teams. Kirklees Council is at the start of an exciting journey to become intelligence-led, to inform and support the delivery of the Kirklees Outcomes. Our new Intelligence and Performance Service is a multi-disciplinary team consisting of research, consultation, intelligence, performance and data analytics professionals who support and promote intelligence and insight informed decisions across the Council and partners.
