During the absence of the substantive headteacher we are looking for a temporary interim headteacher. There is a possibility that the contract could end sooner or later than this, dependent on the return of the substantive post holder.

The post is suitable for a current headteacher looking to broaden their experience or an experienced deputy head wishing to develop their leadership skills further. The post may suit someone who is looking for a temporary secondment.

We are a school whose motto is “Reach for the moon.... the stars.... and beyond”, where pupils aim to achieve their personal best, within a safe, enriched and engaging learning environment. The interim head will be working with a dedicated, cohesive and proud team of staff who are ambitious to see our children meeting their full potential, whilst embracing and cultivating the current good practices and strengths within the school.

You will have a demonstrable record of organisational skills and good practice within the classroom environment. If you have the very highest standards and expectations for yourself and the pupils and staff around you, a passion for learning and developing children to achieve their potential then our school is the right one for you.

In return we can offer you:
