Kirklees Youth Offending Team (YOT) is a dynamic and positive organisation to work for. In addition to a commitment to excellence in all aspects of case management, the YOT has received quality marks for its restorative justice work (the RSQM) and it has also been recognised by Achievement for All as a Quality Lead organisation for its work with SEND/Youth Justice. There is also excellent partnership work in conjunction with the wider YES (Youth Engagement Service) and working alongside other partner agencies in both the private and voluntary sectors. In addition, you will be joining colleagues who are both supportive and passionate about their work with children in the youth justice system.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Social Worker to come and join the team.  You will play an important role in providing a social work service to prevent offending by contributing to the delivery of a range of interventions and services to children, their families and victims. You will also be an excellent communicator, enthusiastic and flexible about the service you provide.
