Technical Assistant – Logistics – General Stores - 1 Job 

The Job 

In response to the COVID19 pandemic and support required for the Kirklees district we have identified the need for three officers to support the PPE Store function and one officer to ‘back-fill’ a role in KNH’s general stores. 

A key component of the role will be to support the stores function by picking, packing and delivering PPE and other items across the district. The post holder may be also be required to support stocktaking as required and which may involve evening or weekend work on an ad-hoc basis. In addition, the post holder may be required to deliver general stores items to building sites across the Kirklees district, collect waste from site and bring back to depots for safe and appropriate disposal. 

The job holder will be responsible for ensuring the most efficient route is taken for deliveries and these are undertaken in a timely manner. In addition, there may be a requirement to work throughout weekends on an ad-hoc or rota basis as the business requires. 

The post holder will be responsible for providing an efficient, effective, pro-active and customer focused service to colleagues within KNH, Kirklees Council and our partners, handling enquiries, giving information and resolving queries as required. 

Package
