An exciting opportunity has become available for a Teacher of Humanities at Thornhill Community Academy. 

We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Humanities to help develop the quality of teaching and learning in the departments and make a significant impact across the Academy.

You will be:

  • An effective classroom practitioner with a proven track record of inspiring and motivating students
  • A specialist in History, Geography or RE with the ability to teach GCSE Geography
  • Able to plan for success and evaluate progress and outcomes
  • Able to coach, inspire and enthuse students effectively
  • Passionate about child-centred educational principles

We have exceptional standards of behaviour, high levels of support, excellent internal and external CPD opportunities, and have a high regard for our staff’s workload, including a verbal feedback policy.
