This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding individual to join our team to make a significant difference to our school community.  We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Pastoral Manager to join our team from 22nd February 2021 (or as soon as possible thereafter), working term time plus one week (37 hours).

The successful candidate will: 

  • Be an excellent practitioner with a commitment to improving the life chances of the pupils in our school
  • Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team
  • Work collaboratively with pupils and their families to overcome barriers to learning
  • Have the ability to work with a range of stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for pupils
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work as part of a team, and on their own initiative, building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
  • Have an ability to think on their feet and confidently deal with challenging situations
  • Be able to prioritise and manage their own workload effectively
  • Be approachable yet professional with an ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality  
  • Have strong ICT skills
  • Lead and manage our Lunchtime Team
  • Be committed to the safeguarding of everyone in our school community
