Internally restricted job. Fixed Term/ Secondment to cover maternity leave up to May 2024


Duties cover a wide range of administration, finance and system development/support. 

Previous experience of financial and administrative processes and systems, as well as excellent organisational skills are required.

Accuracy, producing work to a high standard, problem solving skills and paying attention to detail are also essential requirements.  You will require excellent IT skills and have experience in manipulating data.

You will be working within a busy team of Business Support Officers based at Flint Street, Fartown, Huddersfield and will includes both office and home working. You will be responsible for managing school meals and milk processes, recharging including grant claims, reconciliation of income, and dealing with complex queries. 

 

  • Specialist and technical administrative support
  • Respond to complex enquiries and complaints
  • Specialist IT administration
  • Data processing (input and retrieval) – including service based IT
  • Project support, research and collation of information as directed
  • Produce routine statistical and management information
  • General administrative duties
  • Order, monitor and issue supplies and services
  • Process Catering DBS’s

 

It is essential that you have a flexible and ‘can do’ attitude, possess excellent customer care skills and good IT skills, and that you are familiar with a variety of computer packages in particular Microsoft Office and that you are able to demonstrate business and administrative skills to NVQ Level 3.
