Activity Support Officer - Lunchtime Supervision - Fairfield School
To commence 3rd January 2021 (or sooner if available) on a fixed term basis up to 2nd Jan 2022 to meet specific funding, though the contract may be extended subject to the future operational needs of the school.
Fairfield is a large special school which provides for learners with a diverse range of complex and profound learning difficulties including physical and medical needs from 3-19 years. We are looking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor to work with our pupils, with a range of complex physical and learning needs. The successful candidates will need to be enthusiastic, flexible, confident individuals with excellent interpersonal skills to assist and support in the supervision, engagement and development of pupils during lunchtime. This will be under the overall direction of the Senior Lunchtime Supervisor and the School Business Manager.
Duties will include:
- Supporting our pupils with eating and drinking.
- Encouraging and supervising a range of play and recreational opportunities.
- Assisting with personal care.
Experience is not required as a full training package will be provided. The successful candidates will join a team of motivated staff who are supportive of each other and the pupils. This is a great opportunity to be part of an excellent team, making a difference to the pupils at Fairfield School.
