Kirklees Council Housing Solutions Service delivers a range of services aimed at preventing and relieving homelessness for individuals and households across the district.

We are looking for a dynamic, self-sufficient and organised Senior Housing Solutions Officer (SHSO ) to help build on the team’s successes and drive forward homelessness prevention. The SHSO role is challenging yet highly rewarding, playing an instrumental part in developing partnerships, delivering excellent service and supporting staff to provide housing solutions and support to families and single people over 22 years of age.

You will manage a team of highly motivated Housing Solutions Officers and you will provide guidance and advice on difficult cases, lead on staff supervision and develop links with partners. You will support the Team Manager in developing and implementing best practice and protocols, contribute proactively to projects aimed at the development and implementation of initiatives to improve the service.
