This post is suitable for early career and experienced teachers alike.
At Dalton School, we are proud to be a school where children feel safe, valued and inspired to succeed. Our pupils enjoy coming to school, build strong friendships and thrive in an environment where kindness, respect and inclusion sit at the heart of everything we do.
We are seeking to appoint a warm, committed and reflective classroom teacher who shares our belief that every child deserves to feel a strong sense of belonging and to achieve their very best.
About Dalton School
Dalton is a vibrant and inclusive primary school with a strong community ethos. We are a large, welcoming school where relationships matter and where staff go above and beyond to support both pupils and families.
Our children are polite, respectful and eager to learn. They benefit from a curriculum that is carefully designed to build knowledge over time and supported by teaching that prioritises strong foundations, clear routines and meaningful learning experiences. We are particularly proud of the way our staff support pupils with additional needs and remove barriers so that all children can learn alongside their peers.
Beyond the classroom, pupils enjoy a wide range of opportunities that enrich their learning and develop their confidence, from visits and workshops to clubs and wider community experiences. Our dedicated pastoral and inclusion teams provide strong emotional support, ensuring that children feel cared for and understood.
Our staff team is collaborative, supportive and committed to continual improvement. Professional development is valued, and we work closely together to refine our practice so that we can provide the very best for our pupils.
