You will work within a supportive and experienced team of people dedicated to helping adults maintain their health and wellbeing with an emphasis on meeting short term support needs.
This will predominantly be with the STUST Response Team, but there will be expectation that you work across Kirklees as required.
You will manage a team providing short term urgent support to achieve positive outcomes for service users.
You will co-ordinate your team effectively and support them in visiting and providing a quality service to our service users.
This will include the co-ordination of a range of resources to ensure timely and effective support is provided to service users.
The primary focus of your role is to ensure the provision of quality support to service users, exceeding Care Quality Commission expectations and standards.
You will also establish and maintain relationships with service users, relatives and other professionals.
You will be passionate about developing your team and providing ongoing training, taking feedback from service users and ensuring the effectiveness of the service.
Requirements for this job:
Part of this role is based in the out of hours service (out of office hours). Acting as first point of contact for service users and a dispersed work force on the telephone. Therefore, you must have excellent record keeping ability, possess active listening skills and maintain a calm and composed demeanour when handling complex or demanding queries.
