Kirklees Council are advertising this role on behalf of Huddersfield Mission
Huddersfield Mission is a local charity in the heart of Huddersfield, supporting people experiencing poverty, mental health challenges, homelessness, and addiction. We are a values-led organisation, committed to continuous improvement and inclusivity.
We currently have the following vacancies:
2 x PREMISES OFFICERS (PART-TIME) - £13.45 per hour
Working Pattern (2-week rota), 27 hours over 2 weeks
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 7:30am – 11:00/11.30am
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:30am – 11.00am/11:30am, and
Saturday: 8:00am – 2:00pm
To support the smooth day-to-day running of the Mission building, ensuring it is safe, secure, clean, and welcoming for all users. Duties include general maintenance, cleaning rooms and toilets, room set up for events, opening and closing the building, and lone working on Saturdays.
The role also includes occasional support to the Café Team, such as food preparation, serving customers, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
A Basic DBS check is required for this role.
