You will provide effective HR administration across the Trust working closely with the HR team and School Business/Office Managers to ensure an efficient and consistent HR provision to all academies.

Who are we looking for?

This is a new role and we are looking for someone who can make an impact and start to embed some central HR processes for the academies within the Trust. You will be well organised and have the ability to prioritise and deal with conflicting demands. With experience of HR administration, you will bring this knowledge and experience to this role and be able to apply it in a multi academy trust setting.

You will responsible for the administration and co-ordination of recruitment processes across the Trust and a range of HR and payroll related matters. You must be a strong communicator with a proven ability to build relationships at all levels. You will be able to show resilience and able to handle a varied workload. The post offers challenge, reward and role development for the right candidate. The role is based at Woodkirk Academy, although in future the base may change to one of the other academies within the Trust.

The Trust is committed to flexible working and for this reason we are open to the possibility of part time working patterns with reduced hours or term time plus 4 weeks. Interested applicants are encouraged to discuss this at selection stage so we can explore options which meet both individual needs and those of the Trust.

Benefits include generous holiday entitlement (25 days plus bank holidays, rising to 28 days after 5 years’ service for full time staff), contributory pension through West Yorkshire Pension Fund, free parking (subject to availability), access to an expanding range of lifestyle benefits including Simply Health cash plan, free flu jabs and a cycle to work scheme.

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, visits to the Trust prior to application will not be possible. However, if you wish to discuss the role please contact Sara Cubitt, HR Manager on 0113 887 3608 or cubitt.s@leodisacademiestrust.co.uk. Application packs can be downloaded from the Leodis Academies Trust website or are available by contacting 0113 887 3608.

We will ask shortlisted candidates to undertake some tasks remotely as part of the recruitment process and these will take place on 2 February. Interviews will be held on 5 February.

All posts are subject to pre-employment checks, two references will be sought and successful candidates will need to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS), medical clearance and provide evidence of eligibility to work in the UK and evidence of qualifications.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
