Apprentice Educational Teaching Assistant - Moorlands Primary School

We are seeking to appoint two Educational Teaching Apprentices, to start as soon as possible.

Moorlands is a large through-primary (630 pupils) in Mount, Huddersfield.  Pupils are happy, friendly and keen to learn.  Staff are committed to providing high quality learning and supporting the whole child’s development, and we are looking for individuals who can make a significant contribution to this.  

You will be required to work both on a one-to-one basis, as well as with groups of children.  You will be part of a team including Teachers and other Support Staff who support the high standards of learning and welfare of the children at Moorlands.  

The successful applicant will provide practical support for learning, educational activities, developing social skills and for securing children’s physical and emotional wellbeing.  Energy, patience, enthusiasm and a positive approach to learning are vital to this role.
