Are you a talented and collaborative manager with experience delivering strategic coordination and management of building safety in a housing environment?

We are looking for an individual who can take on the challenge of ensuring that our plans for investments in homes and neighbourhoods are forward thinking and enable us to achieve statutory compliance. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team you will lead the strategic and operational functions delivered by the Homes & Neighbourhoods Building Safety team by:

  • Developing and delivering a robust approach to building safety management and reporting
  • Integrating building safety risk management into asset management planning and programme delivery
  • Providing expert guidance and advice on building safety legislation and best practice
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, partners and stakeholders to deliver a holistic approach to asset management
  • Performance managing the work of the team ensuring high standards of operation and delivery
  • Developing investment planning approaches which are intelligence-led
  • Leading service and improvement planning that supports the achievement of the Kirklees Shared Outcomes and Service Vision
