As a Communal cleaner you will work as a two-person team which works under the umbrella of the Caretaking & Cleaning service, where customer care is paramount as we provide a high-quality and efficient service in Communal areas in low rise blocks of flats.

You will be required to work on a regular weekly rota, and flexibility is required to ensure all blocks are completed daily and to the required standard.

This is a very demanding role, which dictates high levels of physical fitness, and attention to detail, this involves:

  • Working on stairs on blocks 3 levels high.
  • Producing a high quality of work to agreed cleaning standards.
  • Kneeling, bending and stretching are integral to this post.
  • Good customer service to all service users.
  • Working to a tight deadline to adhere to service requirements.
  • Sweeping, moping, damp wiping, scrubbing and deep cleaning
  • Be able to complete paperwork as required.
  • A good geographic knowledge of Kirklees would be an advantage as we may cover the whole of the Kirklees area.

 

We are looking for someone to join a team of communal cleaners which:

  • Has literacy skills to enable reading, writing and completion of paperwork.
