We are looking for driven, hard-working, and respectful individuals with a passion and enthusiasm about the potential of children and young people. We need innovative ideas and leadership to support capacity building and to, raise youth voice and influence in the emerging youth offer.

The Team
The team will take a positive, can do approach. We model the council behaviours and value and respect one another’s views, opinions, and ideas. We are now one year into the development of new work and a new team putting children, young people and communities at the centre.
Working Pattern
The work requires weekly evening and weekend work, occasional overnight residential stays and occasional bank holidays.
You will need:
- Knowledge and experience of Youth and Community Work;
- Ability to engage vulnerable/at risk young people in informal settings;
- Excellent casework skills;
- Leadership/management skills;
- Positive communication skills;
- Flexibility and responsiveness to the needs of individuals and groups.

The selection process will involve a young people’s panel, as well as an interview panel.
The young people’s panel will be on the 25th and 26th January, times to be confirmed but likely to be evening and formal interviews will be on 26th and 27th January (Daytime)
Both young people panels and formal Interviews will be taking place face to face.
